  1. Well that and the fact that I own (5) other S&W .22lr revolvers. A mod 17-8.375", a mod 17-6", a mod 18-4", a mod 617-8.375" and a mod 617-4". I rarely, if ever, shoot any of them, but I hate to let any firearms go. Just greedy I guess.
  2. Here's a couple photos I just took of my (now Chuck's) mod. 34-1. The harsh flash of the point & shoot really shows up all the tiny surface scratches that aren't readily apparent in person. I'm not feeling so bad now.
  3. Very cool. This should make a few of the members here very happy.
  4. I've always wondered how to spell that. ;D
  5. Yeah, but everytime I drag someone's corpse in they refuse to buy the blood. I mean hell, the blood was working just fine 30 minutes earlier.
  6. beautiful 4" nickel plated mod 34-1 22lr revolver that I've sold to finance a new purchase, a Kahr P380 with blackened SS slide. Just ordered the new Kahr. Talk about mixed emotions, joy and sadness at the same time. YAY!....sniff...sniff...
  7. Took me 2 hours to access the forums?
  8. I bought a SIG P226 Classic 22lr for $431.00. I'm going to add a .357SIG upper with night sights for an additional $264.00 totaling $695.00 for a SIG P226 in (2) calibers. BUT, if I were to buy a SIG P226 in .357SIG w/ night sights for $743.00 first, then add a .22lr upper for $229.00 the total cost will be $972.00. For the exact same parts, zero difference. That's $277.00 more if I buy the centerfire first then convert to rimfire than buying the rimfire first then converting to centerfire! What the hell's up with that? Is SIG Sauer listening in?
  9. Fer sure, and we got 34 hens & 5 roosters to wake your ass up in the morning, or midnight, or mid-afternoon....damned roosters never stop crowing.
  10. Looks like you should pack up and move down here to Florida D. It was in the 70s last week, colder this week though.
  11. You're definitely into the .30 cal ARs huh?
  12. Not been gathering up magazines, yet. As for the AR 5.7, we have one in stock built on a Hughes Precision lower. It is the coolest thing since ice cubes. But with the EOTech on top it's difficult to remove the magazine. Sorry for the side track.
  13. I pulled my SIG P226 Classic 22 from my safe this weekend for fondling purposes and have decided to go ahead and order a new centerfire upper for it. I already own many 9MMs, a couple .40S&Ws but no .357SIGs. So what do y'all think? A .357SIG upper? Later I can buy a 40S&W barrel for it and have a (3) caliber P226. .22lr, .357SIG & .40S&W.
  14. The old Soviet work horse looks pretty damed fine all sported out. :thumb:
  15. My brother and I worked on my Escape this weekend with complete success. Changed #4 fuel injector and since you must remove the intake manifold to change the back (3) spark plugs I took the opportunity to change the spark plugs as well (although they didn't need it). Runs like new once again and it wasn't too hard to do.
  16. I watched both episodes and although it's more about the people than the firearms, I liked it.
  17. That's downright tasty, front to back.
  18. Guy, you got the disease bad. Do you find yourself trembling while leafing through your favorite gun rag? ::)
  19. Glad to meet you Jimbo.
  20. I can empathise. As a pawn broker our shops are located in pretty serious parts of town, as most successful pawn shops are. And all of us remain, ever vigilantly, openly, well healed.
  21. Glad to meet you.
  22. Thanks. I hope this solves the problem because in the meantime I'm driving the Chevy 3500 dually with a big block. Fuel economy wasn't on the list of priorities when this truck was designed, and I drive 80 miles a day, minimum. But man, the damn thing could pull a house. Get outta my way!
  23. I'm an FFL dealer and my wholesale order price from Zanders Sporting Goods Wholesale is $466.95. Retail street price should be just a little north of this.
