  1. Pretty cool Madhouse ... "wasting time like it was free"! ;D
  2. Outstanding bunch of funnies! Thanks TM.
  3. Doh ... we're busted Madhouse! :o I actually was at the main site again today and saw that post ... I honestly forgot about the Springfield trigger jobs we talked about some months ago.
  4. Here ya go Madhouse ... http://www.triggerwork.net/GSG-5.html
  5. If you can find a real IMI Galil, it's one of my favorite AK's out there ... spendy, but extremely well made. I favor the 7.62x51 version but there are a lot of quality 5.56x45 rifles out there as well. The Golanis and Century Arms seem to be hit or miss in quality ... buyer beware. There are also some "kits" floating around but I don't know enough about them to make comment?
  6. Long range "nail gun" there ... looking good with the new legs! :thumb:
  7. Any forum member have their GSG-5 trigger tuned by Bill Springfield? I'd like to "crisp" mine up a bit and $49 seems like a decent price for an upgrade. I am having a blast with the new SD but there's always room for improvement in the equipment, and more important; the SHOOTER!
  8. Oh wow ... I almost forgot about that pistol as well. I had all but decided to buy one and then a deal on a Beretta 92F fell in my lap and I opted for it instead. Hindsight is a killer sometimes! Very nice piece Microgunner and a real nice touch with the optional barrel package! :thumb:
  9. I feel for anyone who suffers from back pain ... I have dealt with it for more than 10 years now and can honestly say it is one of the most debilitating, frustrating injuries I've ever had. It's just not possible to even function normally if you don't have a healthy back. To think I used to believe people complaining about back pain were whiners; boy did I learn the hard way, that was not the case. :-[ Hope you heal up quick and the surgery fixed your back issues Dangermouse.
  10. Very cool Madhouse ... not hard to see who wanted to get in and "get it on"! :thumb:
  11. I need a $13.5K loan for that M240! Very cool site asmurff!
  12. Not nearly the same security with debit vs. credit cards ... they aren't making as much money off you using your debit and it shows. We gotta talk about those maxed out CC's ... the banks have a license to steal with their CC rates! I got in big trouble about 10 years back, living a champagne life on a beer budget; finally paid them off and have never carried a balance since. I just hate to give banks money they didn't earn! Hopefully, you get the FS paid off quickly or it'll end up being a $3000 rifle! That just hurts to even say! ::) And I can only hope the azzhat in the White House only serves one term ... don't think the country can take a second term!
  13. I just recently had some outfit selling dietary pills bill my debit card ... from the Bahamas no less??? I no longer use my debit card for any online transactions; CC only is the rule!
  14. I'm not seeing any 10-22 buffers anywhere in that ad??? :P I suddenly have the urge for a tall glass of milk??? ;D
  15. The pump/semi-auto function is not that big a deal, unless you're using LTL rounds that don't have the "oomph" to cycle the weapon(rubber bullets, etc). It might come in handy to do a tactical clearing in a pinch. I would be just as happy with a M1014 or M4, but I bought this shotgun when it was the "creme de la creme"; had to have it! I am a huge fan of Benelli shotguns of any design though.
  16. The retractable stock comes on it factory??? I'm liking the Navy style PG too. I figured they had something up their sleeves with that lawsuit ... can't be losing market share to the competition; especially with their own design. ::)
  17. Wow ... that looks like it might be a solid rifle! I like the looks of it. :thumb:
  18. Sorry I missed this question asmurff ... I don't think about shotties too much when I'm surfing this site. My Benelli M3 holds 6+1 12ga 3" shells and I generally load 00 Buckshot ... neighbors beware! Over-penetration is an issue but I'll take my chances ... I am usually the only one in the house, so friendly fire has to reach the adjacent houses to cause collateral damages. The BG's will be deep in the hurt locker, regardless. It's a helluva kicker in pump mode, but lessens a bit in semi-auto mode, due to the inertia-recoil design ... either way it hurts with 3" Buckshot. :o I've let my girl shoot it with 2.75" #8 shot and she still doesn't like it ... too much kick, noise and weight for her liking. She likes to shoot my smaller guns better, but I think she could manage it if she had to use it in an emergency. Be sure and give your wife fair warning beforehand, so she doesn't club you with your own gauge!
  19. If they find it for that price, I'll take TWO! ;D
  20. Larue or GG&G ... are there any others???
  21. Tale of two different worlds; Laura with dignity, Michelle with none! The tabloids blame the heat in the Grand Canyon for the undignified casual wear ... like AF1 and every vehicle she will be in doesn't have the ultimate climate control??? Blah blah blah! ::)
  22. PRICELESS!!! Good one Micro!
  23. I try to have at least 5-10 mags for each pistol and 15-20 per rifle. The AR mags are the exception since I have 3 AR's and the FS2000 that use the same mags ... 25-30 of those; total. I'll probably have 5-10 GSG mags eventually but I just bought the rifle so I only have 3 at the moment.
  24. Last picture I saw of her from this summer showed the "thickness" ... she definitely hasn't been missing any meals lately! When Willy was in it she was semi-attractive though. Don't quote me on that though or I'll deny it!
  25. A couple of friends have them on their AR's ... nice BUIS but damn they're proud of them? I went YHM QDS and like them just fine for less money ... after all, they are back-ups. ;D
