Depending on the speciality it can be astronomical. OB/GYNS in my area have patients sign a 15 page disclaimer. Many other specialities have their own that patients sign or they are not accepted as patients. It is not uncommon for folks with high risk situations to not be able to find a primary care physician. Double edged sword!!!
The medical profession hates it when you bring up the possibility of "medical misadventures." That is the actual term many friends in the health industry use to describe health professionals killing their patients. Amazing.
Many PD's are getting away from HK products and going to SBR .223's. They are way more powerful, just as easy to manipulate in confined spaces and much cheaper. Every encounter I have had with HK staff in the last 10 years has been negative in nature. They manufacture great weapons but they are HYPER ARROGANT and the prices for replacement parts are a RIPOFF. IMHO
Don't know. This info was posted by an employee of American Tactical Imports. It appears that HK is planning on bringing out their own 22LR version of the MP5. I am not rooting for their success. Coworkers who have dealt with HK reps are not pleased with their arrogance and sublime belief that if you do not purchase HK you are stupid for buying junk. HK reps words not mine. HK makes fine products but they are NOT the only railroad in town!
I have read on several websites that HK and GSG have settled the the lawsuit HK filed against GSG. Apparently GSG is allowed to sell all GSG firearms already in the USA but is not allowed to import any more and is not permitted to sell any after January 31, 2010. This does not apply to their AK-47 an dupcoming Colt 1911 product lines.
