I bought the 938-22LR complete. Love it.

Sadly the racial butthurtness separation is only going to get worse.

Very nice and the correct choice.

In stores in OK you can find most everything in plentiful supply except 22LR. Even online your selection is very limited. I shoot CCI Stingers and have not seen that online for 18+ months.
-
If they are hard plastic I keep them. If cardboard they hit the trash instantly.

In my CCW and home defense weapons I rotate mags every 60 days.

Here in OK we had 80 degrees, snow and back to 60 degrees in less then 24 hours. Weird.

IMHO GSG guns are passable. GSG accessories suck eggs.

I wish it wee that easy. I shop multiple WalMarts at various times. It is the same story no matter what location or time.

Love the rifle selection. Not so much the pistol. SIG P226 22LR IMHO is magnitudes better than the M&P.

Can't hit the "Broadside of a Barn"!

Agreed. Mine is a ragged hole shooter from 25 yards on in. Now it is ammo finicky and likes the hotter CCI stuff. That shitty Federal bulk pack ammo chokes it every time. -
Here in OKC is has been colder than Fairbanks Alaska. Where is the penis puffer AlGore when you want him???
-
Hope he has not yet impregnated some slut bag with his spooge. Now he never will.

Also their financial situation is not good. WAY too much is spent in overhead. I no longer support them at all.

A friend who returned from SHOT 2014 said the manufacturers said that as far as they are concerned 2014 for rimfire ammo will be no better than 2013 and they have no real clue if it will ever get back to pre-Newtown availability. Not what I wanted to hear.

Cheaper Than Dirt are a pack of thieves. I will NEVER do business with them ever again.

My area Wally Worlds have not had 22LR in longer than I can remember.
-
I was at the Wanenmacher Gun Show this past weekend. I saw NO 22LR ammo for sale at all. Many venders were selling used guns for more than I can purchase the same gun at retail. I bet most vendors had a less than stellar show sales wise. I saw very few folks actually buying.

Pre-panic I bought the majority of ammo online. When you buy in large enough quantity shipping charges plummet.

I was in Allen TX this last weekend. It is on the NE corner of Dallas. The Cabelas had plentiful handgun ammo albeit a bit on the pricey side. 223 was plentiful in various brands/weights. However rimfire was ZERO boxes in the store. The gun counter manager said they get in may 50-100 boxes a week and even at a two box limit it is gone in less than an hour. He said his sources indicate it will be at least one to two years before rimfire is back to pre-panic stocks even if then.

He should be the ambassador to Hades! I find it hilarious after his buy a shotgun rant he is not to be seen or heard from since the Navy Yard shooter took his advice and bought a shotgun!!!

Locally (OKC) Academy has put all but 9mm and 22LR back on the shelves. 9mm and 22LR are still behind the service counter and rationed.
-
One of them also said that until his company gets 45-60 day supply of centerfire ammo in the warehouse the rimfire line will remain shutdown.
-
Recently the larget LGS in my area had their annual Summer Expo. Over 100 suppliers and manufactureres where there. I talked with reps from two different ammo companies. Both said the same thing. That is the 22LR production lines are all but completely shut down and have been since the panic began. The reasoning, and it makes sense, 22LR is so low on profit margin that the raw materials were diverted to the centerfire line due to demand and profitability. Yes...No...Maybe So
-
Exactely. The raw materials are being used on the centerfire line and the rimfire line is completely silent and non-functioning for now. And again $52 fo r abox of 550 they can keep it. I will never pay four times pre-panic prices for 22LR. Now if it was say $20 or so, accomodating annual price increases yeah. $52 = theft IMHO.
