  2. Nice :thumb:
  3. Sorry guys but where we are in West Texas we have Bobcats, Mountain lions and coyotes by the bucket load i missed my chance of coyote hunting as i cant get my dam game licence (TDWG keep putting off the date for the 2 day hunter ed course) as here we need a game licence to shoot a fly here. And all the above as well as foxes are shot on site here as we have loads of em and they are getting to be a nuisance. Mountain lion tracks were found less than 500 yards from town and they follow the deer herds so if they are spotted they get shot here.
  4. Dont need a bobcat but where is the AR15 blowing there heads off and turning them in to easter dinner ? :o
  5. Has anyone seen this ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_7ywoDaOFk&feature=related

  7. He doesn't need food all you need to do is send ammo as he has a gun collection that could supply a small country he could go and hunt a few deer or pigs with them there 308's ;D

  9. Hi and welcome from a Texas import :thumb:
  10. Thanks guys, well you said it micro not bad for a rifle that's 79 years old ;D i might have to try it in a bench rest to see how good a shot it is.
  11. The weather improved enough today so i took my mosin to the range to zero the scope i put on it, i fired 105 rounds trying out the new and improved rifle and iam really impressed with it and the recoil butt pad is a god send no achy shoulder today. If your going to shoot a 7.62 x 54 don't buy the Bulgarian ammo in steel cases that are lacquered they were sticking inside the chamber of my rifle and when i cycled the bolt the empty case was still in the chamber and i was having to knock them out with a bore cleaning rod thank god i only brought 40 of them and not the whole 105 rounds the Russian copper washed steel cases eject first time not problems. Apart from that the rifle worked flawlessly the new scope is brilliant i really like it and can't wait to go and shoot it again, The only thing about the eastern block ammo is they have corrosive primers so once you have finished shooting you have to swab the barrel out with Windex with ammonia to neutralise the salts but at $5.50 for 20 rounds its cheap to shoot, all the targets were at 50 yards today but i am going to be shooting at longer distances soon ;D

  15. The local walmarts round here only sell Federal bulk in 550 boxes or that what i always end up with but i don't have that many failure to fire but i do have 1 or 2 failure to feed and i to do buy CCI minimags now i run both through the same day cci is alot more accurate. All the targets were at 50 yards and shot through my GSG AK47.
