got home, stripped the rifle apart, but i for the life of me could not get the barrel bolt loose, going either direction LOL anyone else have any luck? would threading and slapping a break on the heavy barrel have any negative impact on the barrel itself?
-
ill try to have look when i get home
-
if the rifle will be shot on a bench or some sort of rest then it would be nice to have the extra weight, which can be added in the grip and "gas" storage area, but i think the heavy barrel should suffice for the extra weight when shooting off hand

welcome in for the website for the mags as well :)
-
havent tried it as i like the look of the standard barrel with the muzzle break the heavy barrel is smooth i didnt see a muzzle break or any type of threading next time i shoot outdoor i will switch out the barrel and report back

i really want one of these but im not sure its even LEGAL in CA? havent seen any in my local FFLs
-
^i feel the same way and according to their website (link i posted above) the TACTICAL version is a bit lower on feet/sec but has improvement in energy over the MINI MAGS, not quite sure if its enough to consider a difference, but on paper there is a difference

http://www.cci-ammunition.com/whatsnew/newproducts.aspx saw this at my local FFL, and for the price i think i'd rather shoot minimags, proven reliablity at about the same price i still might try 1 box http://www.cci-ammunition.com/products/compare.aspx

i cant seem to find any 10rd mags on fleabay...any recos on where i can order some online? thanks
-
yes it did at first i was very skeptical because a few buddies told me that all they ever heard about were bad stuff but after 200 or so rounds its not bad at all, it is pretty fun to shoot and accurate enough that i can get pretty good groups standing, free hand, no bench rest at about 40ft im happy, i just think it needs better magzines and a fiberoptic front sight

went for a quick break-in and sight adjustment range time at first the rifle was shooting a group low and left after quite a bit of adjustment, it finally got some good straight grouping at 30-40ft (deepest my indoor range goes) had 4 FTF and 4 double feeds with in ~250rds 200rds CCI mini-mag; 50rds of mixed bulk ammo (i blame the magazine) but it is a lot of fun and a few people at the range did stop to ask some questions LOL the 3ftf i got to take pics of all done
