Glowin
Hi Guys,Just thought I'd share a few pictures of my old semi auto G22.Had it for about five years and had a lot of fun with it. It was quite picky though with ammo and it had to stay well oiled or it would catch the spent cases before they'd had a chance to clear the chamber.CheersGlowin

Microgunner
We've had a bunch through. I always thought they were awfully heavy, unbalanced, and had the worst sights I'd ever seen. I think Walther goofed on this one.
Glowin
I was never too bothered by the weight but I'd definitely agree with the rest. Plus it was an awkward little b*stard when it came to what you could put through it.It was my first ever rifle though so it'll always hold a place in my heart. Like your first car or your first........ you know where I'm going :thumb:Glowin

nhgunnut
I see that this thread is a little dead, but wanted to say how much I love my Walther G22. I bought mine specifically to run a suppressor on. Pros and cons of this are obvious. ProThe Bull Pup Design makes the length added by the suppressor disappear. It cycles decent subsonic ammo quite well (the exception being Remington Subsonic does not cycle in any of my 22s) Mine is very accurate (squirrels chip monks and crows have all departed courtesy of mine.Very light sits on my shoulder well.ConsTake down for cleaning is a night mare and suppressed firearms get dirty fastTrigger takes some time to get used to (Like most bull pups the trigger is long and "stagey"All in all it is usually the first 22 rifle I grab
