techmike Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 Just got two of THESE from Brownells. Put the first one on my AR in about 7 minutes, very nice! Can't wait to get it out to the range. It really does improve the ergonomics. Going to put the other one on my Colt.TMWell crap -won't fit the Colt without serious modification.

M4rk Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 man, im really liking this grip.. too bad.. any other suggestions??
asmurff Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 I like the Magpul foregrip, I have one on both my tricked-out 10/22 and my Spike's Tactical AR. http://store.magpul.com/product/MAG412/107
techmike Posted August 7, 2011 Author Report Posted August 7, 2011 The Stark is a great grip for an AR - it's on mine. But due to the integrated trigger guard it does not fit the Colt. I have one of THESE on my Colt. But please be aware, there are no AR grips that work out of the box on the Colt/Umarex - you have to drill a hole to accommodate the hammer strut.

asmurff Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 Ergo makes some nice stuff and there made just on the other side of the mountain from me, wish they had a factory outlet store.
techmike Posted August 7, 2011 Author Report Posted August 7, 2011 nothin that werks out of the box?? NONE????Not that I am aware of. It is an easy mod to get one to fit - just make it look like the original one. You will have to drill a second hole in the AR grip to allow the hammer strut to go thru, and usually enlarge the mounting hole .050" or so.
