Popcop45 Posted November 3, 2010 Report Share Posted November 3, 2010 Has anyone else blued their GSG-5 barrel? I am using Shooter Solutions Rugged Gun Blue (Only $14). I don't know why the barrel came un-blued in the first place but, I didn't like the flash hider of my GSG-5P and that short chrome barrel sticking out looked ugly, so I decided it was time to get down to some bluing. Ive had good results with the Aluma-Hyde.What have you used for cleaner / degreaser? Brownells TCE is way too expensive at $26 a can. I've heard a lot of good reviews about Aluma-Hyde II.
