Did you ever have a gun that never worked right?

I had an Intratec Protec .25 that would not fire more than one round in a row. It was a great concept but a piece of crap in realization.

I'd almost forgotten about those little junkers (Protecs). I hate to own up to it but I once bought an Astra A70 9mm because it looked like a SIG. That's where the similarities ended. I also at one time in my life bought a Star Firestar 9mm, don't remember why, but it was a mistake. I avoid Spanish firearms now.

A buddy had that Astra. I used to tease him about it. I remember also wanting a firestar. Cant recall why I didnt get one.

Add my SIG Mosquito to the mix ... I think I finally "smithed" it into a working pistol but WTH!?!? So much for SIG's good name.  ::)

I bought my wife a Taurus PT 22 Nickle with Pink Pearl grips. What a P.O.S. she would be well off to throw the gun at an attacker instead of a bullet.

It was sent back twice and came back no better, the best it can do is to use Thunderbolt Lead non hollow point. You might get an entire mag through I stress MIGHT.

I own two other Taurus guns a 24/7 9mm and Millineum Pro 745 compact 45 acp both are top notch guns so I was very dissapointed with this clunker.

Is that the one with the pop up barrel similar to the Beretta?
