Glowin
I started writing illustrated stories to read to my kids at bedtime a few months back now. I base the stories on stuff I think it's important for children to know like how to safely cross the street and why you shouldn't talk to strangers. I use a self publishing website to buy copies for my children but I'm looking for a propper publisher to take them up at the moment. Anyway, as my little boy keeps asking if he can come to the range with me when he's bigger I thought I'd write a story about the five firearms safety rules.Usually my stories are centred on a character called PC Bill. The PC stands for Police Constable if you didn't know that already. He usually looks like your typical British Bobby but I thought I'd have some fun with this new story and put him in his range clothes.I hope you like him. Microgunner
Very cool. I see he's wearing his hearing protection but no eye protection.
Glowin
;D or should I say 8). I knew I'd get pulled up about that by someone. Over here in the UK we don't have to wear eye protection on the range, just hearing protection. At least that's the case at my clubs. But if I want to get any sales out of America then I'll add some.I'm my own worst critic. I also noticed his rear back up site is useless.... as he doesn't have one on the front! The seam between upper and lower receivers doesn't carry on beyond the dust cover. And finally the spare mag on his belt is the wrong side for an effective speed reload!I'm fixing it right now!CheersGlowin
asmurff
I think what you're doing is great, and since it is for kid's safety an excellent service. I hope you'll continue to share some of it with us.
