walmart ammo, not bad at all!!

shot the FEDERAL 550 today. it was $18 at walmart. i almost finished the whole box.. and NO FAILS!

the old man next to me was sayin that, its best to "break in" with CCI- stingers.. and then after that... colts should be fine with anything. im goin back to walmart to buy 2x 550 boxes! LOL

Next time, try the Winchester 555's. They're $19 at Wally-World. They shoot REALLY good and have a BIG hole in the end of the bullet. Leave a big mess when they hit a critter!

I've never had problems with ammo just because it came from Wal-Mart, it isn't like they are buying seconds. A bad lot of ammo is cheaper for the manufacturers to destroy than to even try and defend in a civil law suit. I tend to stick with Federal and CCI because overall I have less problems with them than any other all around.

You could buy Remington Thunderbolts or Golden Bullets at Tiffany's and they still would not consistently fire. It doesn't matter who sells ammo, if it's good, it's good. If it's bad, it's bad.
