Tactical .22 Match for July

We had our match today, we got bumped off of our normal Saturday because of the New Mexico Sporting Clay Championship.

We had a good time with 9 shooters, 3 who were highschoolers or younger. Most common rifle today was the S&W 15-22 with 6 shooters using them, 2 Ruger 10/22s and one very tricked out Remington 597.

Which rifle won?

The winning rifle today was the tricked out Remington 597, but it was far from a standard rifle, expensive holo-sight, aftermaket barrel and compensator. Visitor from back east with nothing but race guns, which is something we've tried to stay away from to keep it family orientated.

2nd & 3rd were the 2 Ruger 10/22s, I placed 3rd, my best showing so far.

Can't fault the S&W 15-22, since most of their shooters were the kids and first timers.
