cleaning the flash hider

while i was cleanin the rifle, i noticed that the flash hider had alot of lead build up. it was pretty hard to clean... i had to chisel it with a small flat head screw driver. any other easy way to clean this?

I'd think any of the liquid lead solvents would do the trick. Maybe put some in a dish and let the flash hider soak.

Anyone see a problem with that idea. I'm not a gunsmith but did stay at a Holiday Inn once.

scraping with a screwdriver works real good.

thanx guys.. ya i didnt think the flash hider can get all that build up. i was pretty surprised.
