M4rk Posted August 3, 2011 Report Posted August 3, 2011 while i was cleanin the rifle, i noticed that the flash hider had alot of lead build up. it was pretty hard to clean... i had to chisel it with a small flat head screw driver. any other easy way to clean this?
asmurff Posted August 3, 2011 Report Posted August 3, 2011 I'd think any of the liquid lead solvents would do the trick. Maybe put some in a dish and let the flash hider soak. Anyone see a problem with that idea. I'm not a gunsmith but did stay at a Holiday Inn once.
rodent.22 Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 scraping with a screwdriver works real good.
