Hey Drew - I did a trade for a Marlin 25N. A real beaut! Checkered stock, bluing @ 99%, shoots great. It has been very effective against the hated squirrel hordes in the back yard!!! I have been using Aquila Colibra ammo - it doesn't contain any powder - just a primer- nearly silent with a bolt action. Just a little phtt sound, and then the sound of impact.

Techmike, was that JC Higgins made by Marlin? I had a JC Higgins that I used all the time.

Hey Joe - I don't remember - it was pre-serial numbers and I have not seen it in 10 years - gave it to my daughter.
