HAVOC
Why did the makers of these rifle include a button to help load them? I saw a video where the person is loading rounds without the button. It would be nice if the mags looked like their 5.56 counterpart. Is there a Magpul LULA that works with this mag? rodent.22
the .22 cartridge is rimmed, loading without detensioning the stack of shells in the magazine sometimes causes the shells to stack badly, which in turn causes misfeeds. Thumbing the button slightly when loading enables you to insure the proper staggering of the rounds.
StuTalon
Rodent is spot on... these little bullets sometimes need a bit of a shuffle in the mag to help them properly stack so the top round has a slightly upward angle. I think it probably cuts down on mag reloading time quite a bit and when you blow through 3-400 rounds in an afternoon I'll trade that for it not looking exactly like its big brothers.
