I put a Leatherwood CMR on my Colt M4 (.22lr) and one on my AR 15 (5.56). That way when I practice with the .22, the sight picture is the same on my AR. It has a dot-in-the-donut reticle, which I have grown to really like. Also has return to zero turrets, so I zero at 50yds, and turn the top turret to 6 and I am right on at 100 yds.

I like red dot sights on ARs.

I have an EoTech on my 5.56 and a Bushnell Holosight (same manufacturer as EoTech except without the armor plating) on my .22lr AR.

Like Techmike, my practice rifle has the same sight picture as my 5.56.
