Mini-14 Magazines

Beginning to look at a rifle for my wife in 5.56, do they take regular AR-15 magazines or only a Ruger magazine.

But not to worry, they're as common as flies.

I want to stick to something which will take the standard M-16/AR-15 magazines since I have plenty of those already. My gut says get another Spikes Tactical and let her dress it up how ever she wants.
