imschur Posted January 16, 2010 Author Report Posted January 16, 2010 not sure yet what optics I want for the AR-15 ???
Microgunner Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 With your high end tastes I'm sure it's going to be deluxe.
imschur Posted January 17, 2010 Author Report Posted January 17, 2010 With your high end tastes I'm sure it's going to be deluxe. Right now Im thinking Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20 with a rapid Z varmint reticule. I read theres an illuminated version but I found no mention on the Zeiss site.
FS2KSTD Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Looking good Drew ... "Dr. Evil and Minnie Me".
imschur Posted January 17, 2010 Author Report Posted January 17, 2010 5.5# difference without optics and bipod.
FS2KSTD Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Going to bipod the 15? It looks heavy! >:D
imschur Posted January 17, 2010 Author Report Posted January 17, 2010 Going to bipod the 15? It looks heavy! >:D I will as most of my shooting is prone. The AR-15 while heavy I could shoot it off hand with a proper sling. It reminds me of those old .22 target rifles we used in competitions during my youth. Im going to sell the Tango Down Bipod I bought recently and get two of something else that I can actually manipulate with my right hand. I would like to try the Bobro but I dont think they are available so I may try out a GG&G.
