Microgunner Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 Hey Drew. A Nikon D70 w/Nikon 28-80 f3.3-5.6 zoom just came out of pawn for sale. Is this a worthwhile camera? Look good.
lmao_37 Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 they are a pretty good camara nikon make good camara's
imschur Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 Ive pre ordered the D70 for the little woman when they first came out. Its been my primary camera since up until I bought the D90. I think it still has a fair amount of value. If that lens has a "G" in the number it is a great lens. The D70 also has a lot of Lens compatibility that the entry level Nikon DSLR's do not.The D70 takes great pictures especially if your willing to work at it a bit, especially with that lens. However Ill toss a few things out there. If you just want to point and shoot you would be better served with a Canon Powershot IS of some sort. They really have these cameras nailed to near perfection for everyday point and shoot situations. Lastly once you buy a Nikon and a lens you will be making a commitment to stick with Nikon because of that lens. I wouldn't go more then a few hundred bucks
