imschur
When i was looking at 10/22 bolt buffers online and I noticed there was kits that included take down bolts. Whats the deal? Do these bolts break often?I also noticed Titanium bolts being offered. Is this just for cosmetics?
rodent.22
They never break, it's a matter of style- you go from a slotted head screw to a allen head . The targetshooters like the titanium, real lightweight.
Microgunner
The harder metals hold their torque better making accuracy more consistent. Critical in target shooting. I torque all my action screws, scope rings, etc.
