Front iron sight

Ok, I give, how do you get the little piece of plastic from the pic rail at the front?  I want to put my Magpul sights on, but can't get that little turd out of there.

Hey madhouse you have to remove the foregrips,the bottom one slides down and away fairly easy but mine required some persuasion with a screwdriver to get the top off.this is also necessary to do to install the bottom and side rails on the foregrip.

Thanks!  I've taken the foregrips off before, but I was wondering about getting a sight mounted up front.  I thought that there was a short picatinny rail on the gas block, but it's not a rail.

Sure looks like a picatinny rail with a filler in the photo. They're making buyers purchase proprietary sights?

MG - it look to be a pic rail, but it's not.  The sides are flat, and the slot is beveled.
