My next build

It's official and is going to be a 6.8 SPC II 16" ar 15. This is in addition to all the other projects that are waiting for parts. The barrel will be a 16" Shilen from Ranier Arms. This much I know  ;D Everything else is up in the air.

For those keeping score:

1. Im still waiting for my parts to come back from anodizing for that old Colt Sporter

2. I just canceled a DPMS 308 barrel from the factory. I waited a year.

3. Im still seeking the right 1911 for the right price

4. Going to get a 10/22 very soon

5. Wondering where the heck the money is going to come from to pay for all this.

The 6.8 is a great round.  I have a 16" complete 6.8 DPMS upper mated to a 5.56 DPMS lower.

Got my parts back from anodizing today. They did  an awesome job. I sent them a charging handle to match the color for the upper. Never realized that the charging handle wasnt exactly the same color as the lower. So its still  a two tone  :laugh:

well two tone isn't so bad at least it nearly matches
