asmurff Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 So tomorrow morning I'm taking the 10/22 and the Marlin 925R to the range. I think I'll go first thing in the morning as it is suppose to be mid to upper 90s again.
lmao_37 Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 you lucky bugger my honey do list is like the yellow pages ;D
asmurff Posted June 10, 2010 Author Report Posted June 10, 2010 Oh mine gets like that to, but my wife realizes even though I'm retired I need to just go goof off.
asmurff Posted June 10, 2010 Author Report Posted June 10, 2010 Spent about 2 hours at the range and had fun. I decided to do something I hadn't done since before I retired from the Air Force, so I shot both rifles offhand standing. Talk about muscle memory lose, I think I'm going to need to do it more often. Still having trouble with one of my Butler Creek Hot Lip Magazines, I'm going to try cleaning it again and see what happens.BTW way the Jack Rabbits are huge this year, I most have had 6 run across the road on the way to the range, 10 miles of my trip is over dirt roads.
asmurff Posted June 10, 2010 Author Report Posted June 10, 2010 I haven't hunted since I was in my 20s, then in New Mexico rabbits were in season year round and you didn't even need a hunting license. I now you have to have a license but I don't seen a seaon for rabbit. Jacks are usually very tough and stringy though.
