asmurff Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 Well I got my stock from Boyd's today only problem it's for a right-handed person :-[ . The info on the web site didn't say and like a dummy I assumed it was ambidextrious. You think after being a lefty for 54 years I'd know to ask! I'll call them Monday and find out if they make a leftie version and they'll exchange it or if they don't make the leftie will they'll let me return it.If that fails I guess I can either try and sell it myself or shoot it right-handed which I can do, but am not sure it would improve my shooting overall.
imschur Posted June 12, 2010 Report Posted June 12, 2010 Even though Im a leftie I shoot rifle and play guitar right handed. Its just easier.Thats a bummer on the stock. Talk about disappointment. If you need to sell it I can put it on the main site(s) for ya
asmurff Posted June 12, 2010 Author Report Posted June 12, 2010 It is uninletted and could fit about anything.
Microgunner Posted June 12, 2010 Report Posted June 12, 2010 You inlet your own stocks? I've always wanted to try that. Difficult?
asmurff Posted June 12, 2010 Author Report Posted June 12, 2010 Don't know if it is hard, this is going to be my first try, so I hope they make it in a leftie model.
asmurff Posted June 15, 2010 Author Report Posted June 15, 2010 Well I'll be returning the stock tomorrow, they don't make it for lefties except once in a great while. :-[
asmurff Posted June 15, 2010 Author Report Posted June 15, 2010 Well I think I'll just leave the rifle as is, it is extremely accurate even with the inexpensive Bushnell Rimfire Scope. It is a starter rifle so finding upgrades are very difficult. At sometime in the future I may try making my own stock, but not anytime in the near future.
