Why not toss a Marvel Precision or Tacsol conversion on a 1911 you already own? maybe get a frame or an inexpensive 1911 and make it dedicated at a later date.

Yeah I mostly fish with medium to light spinning gear. If lake fishing for bass I will bring a baitcasting rig. For those that like to keep track, the spinning rod is a 6' G Loomis GL2 and the spinning reel is a Team Daiwa Advantage 2500A. My baitcasting rig consists of a 6'6" Falcon low rider rod with a Shimano Curado 200E7 reel.

What you guys may not realize is that trout is huge by CT trout standards. It was a large male brown trout. Probably an old breeder released into the river.

Ive read a lot of the industry news and they are predicting price increases and shortages once again due to the unpredictable elections in November. If you have been pondering a purchase you might want to get it done in the next few weeks just in case they are right. Stock up on ammo and primers too. jmho
