Dude, I could have you doing this in 5 minutes. The big deal is making sure the bore is properly indicated and true. Thats why the tools brownells sell all work based on the bore rather than the OD. It's all in the setup. 30 minute setup. 10 Minutes work
Yes, I have a decent lathe at my day job. What you cant see is the lathe jaws left some small marks in the teflon despite my best effort. Next time I will try it in a friends shop. He has a lathe setup with collets. The marks aren't even noticeable unless I point them out but irks me none the less. I did get guidance on the proper cutting insert. I hadn't turned stainless before.
October is my favorite month for movies as I am a huge horror fan. If any of you guys have netflix I suggest the two seasons of "Masters of Horror" They are rentals or streaming. I suggest the following to start with: 1. Incident on and off a mountain road 2. Pelts 3. Haeckles Tale 4. Pick Me Up 6. Family Deer Woman is pretty funny and Imprint was one of the most difficult things to watch in a while. Need to see them uncut.
Tomorrow 8am taking a train to NYC for a an IT Geek Conference. Tried to get the guy who Im going with to go shooting instead but he declined. He's afraid he'll be quizzed at the office...silly kid. Anyhow about a block or two from the Javits center is BH Photo Video. Im fearing for my credit card. My patience is wearing thin waiting for Nikon to get their stuff together with the D7000. I could be just as happy with a Canon EOS D60.
Awesome on the good deal :thumb: Im sorry I don't know the answer to your question. Hopefully one of the brighter bulbs will chime in. Nice to see you found your way here too sccritterkiller
