I'm in Lake Saint Louis with my wife's folks. Enjoying it! Have a good Labor Day y'all!
-
I haven't seen anything about my order yet either...

Thanks asmurff. Those grips are aftermarket, from a shop called Big State Distributors. I think they look much better than the original.

I had this in another topic, but I'll repost it here. :thumb: Kimber Custom Gold Combat RL, .45 ACP (click pic for hi-res version)

Thanks techmike! Was this also at 50 yards?

LOL! I let my buddy wear my Kimber Ultra Carry II in my Milt Sparks Summer Special for a bit, but he doesn't like to wear belts. So, at least he has something in the little LCP - better than no gun at all.
-
That's what my buddy carries. It's a great little gun, very easy to conceal, shoots pretty well. I ran some rounds through his. I would probably carry it on my ankle as a back-up gun, as it seems to me to be a better belly gun than something to use in a firefight.

Our corporate IT has stayed away from Vista as well (we have about 3000 employees). They say they'll jump straight from XP Pro to Windows7 as well. :thumb:

Windows 7?!? I've barely seen Vista more than a couple of times in person. I run XP Pro on all of my machines. ;D

I'd like to think so too, but I doubt it. I'm probably just jaded, but I have very little faith in the fortitude of the sheeple of this country (75% of the population). -
CCI Stingers !!!

Awesome. Video link ;D

Definitely federally regulated, but they are civilian legal if you live in a state that allows them, and go through the proper BATFE procedure of getting one. Basically you pay a dealer for it, then submit all the item's information and your own to BATFE, and send them $200 for the tax stamp. They'll send your dealer back a document saying you can posses it and the dealer will transfer it to you with a 4473 (like any firearm), but doesn't have to call it in because the background check is done already.

A buddy of mine was running rounds through his brand new M&P 15-22 and had several FTF/FTE issues with a four or five year old box of Remington Golden Bullet ammo. I gave him 25 rounds of Aguila to try in a magazine and every round went through without issue. He went back to the Remington and continued to have a random failure.
-
I was at the range with 3 friends. Between us we had 8 .22lr rifles (3 of which were S&W M&P's). ;D

I run a QSM Titanium can on my 5.56 stuff. I think it's always best to run a can for the appropriate caliber, but a 5.56 can will quiet the .22 some too. But .22 is real dirty, and you would have to clean the baffles before going back to 5.56. That's what I have to do with my Spectre before going back to 5.7x28.
-
LOL! They're not all for me, I have 2 friends with these S&W's as well, only 3 are for me. ;D
-
Of those I would go with the outback. You might also look at Yankee Hill Machines' Mite. I use an SWR Spectre on my 22's, but I got it because it handles 22, 17 and 5.7. I like to use it on my Five-seveN pistol.

Thanks!! I just ordered 8.
-
Wow, that was a rare find! Nice!
-
I think I found it, Walther PS 55
