  1. Glad to have you submrg
  2. Interesting looking rifle, how much do they run?
  3. I think it is just a mind set by German companies, you see it in HK, Festool, Fein and Siemens. They all make very good products, and they want no like products so they can continue to charge what they charge, hence the lawsuits.
  4. I was able to locate some ammo this week so I'll get to shoot is again tomorrow. I also found some Remington Golden Saber HPJ to keep it loaded with. I got in the magazine extensions and the Hogue over grip and it feels much more comfortable in my hand.

    Rain

I vaguely remember rain, at my house we've had 7.3 iches of rain this year, I have a Weather Channel home weather station. That is actually more than all of last year. If the water rates go up again I may have to rethink my vegetable garden next year.
  6. The insurance people understand this, which why I can get Liability/Self Defense Insurance for 175 a year, what does a doctor pay in malpractice insurance.
  7. Here is another case of us causing each other to go broke.
  8. I'd get the trigger job and the bling >:D
  9. "Confronting Liberals with the facts of reality is very much akin to clubbing baby seals. It gets boring after a while, but because Liberals are so stupid it is easy work." Steven M. Barry
  10. I've always thought they were over priced, and the arrogance you describe is a key to that I believe. I'd heard both they and sig ride roughshod over their competion regularly.
  11. I sent an e-mail to him today telling him what I thought, may not do much good, but if he gets enough of them? Don't worry about not being from CA the liberal blitzes don't.
  12. I got to go shoot the Kel Tec today but only 37 rounds since all the ammo I could find was one box of 50. Since I wanted to be able to load the pistol and one magazine afterwards I kept 13 rounds. It fired flawlessly, no FTF or FTE. I fired slow aimed shots for about half, and rapid fire the other half. It hits where it is aimed although the sights are tough to use. At 3 yards I was able to keep aimed groups to less than 1/2". The rapid fire I was able to keep them on the >:D Gnome's body (yes I know very unscientific) which is roughly 3" x 3". I didn't go back any futher since if this is the only gun you carry you need to be shooting and scooting. I'll keep a 1911 or Beretta in my vehicle for back-up if I carry this one. I have nothing to measure the trigger pull with, but it wasn't bad, much less than my Beretta 92 in double action. I'd guess the advertised 5 pounds is about right. Only being able to get two fingers on the grip was weird but doable, I have the extensions coming from Kel Tec. I also ordered a Handall Jr. Grip Sleeve from Hogue since the thin grip pushes rather hard into the meaty area between thumb and forefinger. Overall I like it and it fills a niche for me. I'll shoot it enough to remain proficient with it, but fun plinking won't be it's use.
  13. I like it!
  14. The P3AT or the LCP are ideal for NM because you can so seldom wear even a light jacket. I have a IWB holster for the 1911 but that isn't always the most comfortable thing in the heat either.
  15. I'd say that was a range report with all the important details after all they're .22s and you addressed the most important aspect of range report on .22s the fun factor.
  16. This type of whining occurs with anything replicating something else. I saw a long article condemning a modern Sharps because in the inner workings it had a allen head screw or screws.
  17. Having only one might be some sort of sacrilege. Mininum would be a 5" and a 3" or 3-1/2". Then you need one in .22lr for lots and lots of fun errr I mean practice. One or two in 9mm. Last for s@#ts and grins a 38 Super. Then of course there are SS, chrome, duracoat nickel etc etc etc.
  18. The real problem is there are so many really good ones out there today.
  19. I think this story is over a year old and Bloomberg twsted it to make it sound like a big deal, I believe all it did was move the guns away from the front of the counters on the carosels.
  20. Gotta love when it is better than described.
  21. That is one good complaint department set up. They most likely got you to smile before you start your complaint.
  22. howdy glad you jioned us.
  23. Hey speaking of Obama we should stop comparing him to Hitler. At least Hitler got the Olympics to come to Berlin .
  24. Well I didn't even get brained for it, :o she liked it. I just order an extra magazine and 2 magazine extensions. Hey Rodent when were you in the USAF? I was from 1975 to 1996 till a bad ticker forced me out.
  25. My wife my brain me later but I bought another pistol today. It's a Kel Tec P3AT .380 auto. I know friends don't let friends carry mouse guns, but there are times my 3-1/2 1911 is to big or I just want to run out real quick and don't want to take the time to put on a holster.
