  2. The neighbor complain more hummingbirds come to my yard than theirs.
  3. Anyone heard of or used their ammo. Just came across their ammo today and all I could find was they've been I business since 1999.
  4. Went to he range today to see how much I needed to adjust the LaserLyte sight. I only needed to nudge the LaserLyte down a tad, the primary sight was good enough. After I finished with it, I practice with my Browning Buckmark my weakest area in our Action Rimfire matches. Beautiful early fall day in New Mexico, mid 70s with a very light breeze which keeps the gnats away.
  5. Glad to have you.

    Up early

You have to new your license every four years and that takes what I mentioned earlier, at the 2 year point you have do just the range which is 25 rounds per gun class (Semi-Auto or/and Revolver). We're working to dumb the 2 year range requirement. After that the plan is to get it down to the range time once ever four years The initial training is 16 hours but you only have to do that once. The range part is easy, if you couldn't qualify you have no business carrying a gun. I'm not a great shot but have always scored 100% with both types of pistols.

    Up early

Off to do my requalification training for concealed carry. Four hours of classroom :vom: and two hour range time  Never had to do this to drive a car, the far more dangerous item.

    Starbucks

The breakfast burritos around here are "you gotta skip lunch" size. I think these may qualify as 8, I have trouble finishing one. If the menu says Burrito Grande bring a friend along ;D

    Starbucks

On the rare occasions I want coffee fancier than Folgers I go to a place called Badass Coffee, Originated in Hawaii. Their beans all come from Hawaii, we have one about 3 miles from the house, this one also make one hell of a breakfast burrito.

  12. Glad to have you.
  13. I currently am using a brass tumbler to clean and polish brass, but am considering purchasing a sonic cleaner. Any suggestion as to which. I don't need super capacity, but one which will last. I'm living on a military pension and disability so cost is a factor also.
  14. for the winners.
  15. The gun club we belong to (Del Norte Gun Club) in Rio Rancho, NM had to close the range Thursday and it won't be open again probably until sometime this coming week. We've had over 3 inches of rain at my house in the last 3 days which for here is a lot. Out towards the range maybe as much as 5 inches, the last 10 miles to the range is a all dirt roads which are impassable.
  16. I think I've done pretty good considering 10 years ago all I owned was the Browning Buckmark and the Charles Daly pump.
  17. That is what he said also, I still need to get good individual pictures also.

    Jackpot

I went to Sportsman's Warehouse today and for once they had stuff, I was able to pick up a couple of these items each: Small Rifle Primers, Large Rifle Primers and 55gr SP .224 bullets. First time I'd seen small rifle primers in a long time.
  22. I checked for New Mexico, but you only require hunters education if you're under 18.
  23. I like the bottom stock.
  24. Haven't hunted in a long time sometime in my 20s.
  25. Welcome
