Did you at least know when it shipped?

    Ad removed

FYI I removed an ad for a term paper writing service from the 1911 .22 Conversion section.
  4. Very nice, good job.

I got an email from CMP yesterday saying my paperwork for a M1 Garand was approved and it would be shipping in 30-60 days.
  6. Every storm this winter went to the north of here, and we've been in 50-60 for the last two months. However, we were already in an extreme draught, and the lack of snow pack is just going to make it worse. The fire crews are already prepping for a bad forest fire season, which starts in March with the winds.
  7. What temperature does it have to reach for the curing?

I have a 1911 look-a-like which uses propane as the propellant, car be refilled from the 1 pound disposable bottles. They zing out but the charge doesn't last long.

    Springers

Wow! I had no idea they could run that much.
  10. Saw the cans also might add them later. If for no other reason they'd be fun for the grandkids, who are young enough to bend over and set them back up ::)
  11. I picked up a LaserLyte Trainer. It comes with its own pistol which is plastic with a working trigger, the insert for the barrel will work in it or any real handgun, with a snap cap in the chamber. The laser is active by the vibration of the trigger tripping. The reactive target makes you work on fundamentals because it is only 2.5" x 2.5". It enhances dry fire a lot. I've been using it today in the 3.5" 1911 I carry. Any pistol you can manually cock the hammer on is easy to train with. Haven't tried it with a striker-fired or internal trigger yet, I guess I'll have to rack the slide each time for those.

The Ruger is as heavy as a large caliber rifle, how is the Gamo for weight?

  15. Just make sure they are turned off before political speeches or the terminally peg out at the top end.
  16. I use the Tipton Best Gun vise. All contact areas are rubber coat, there are plenty of adjustments to get things the way you like them. Accessories which are separate are Mag-well block for ARs and 1911s. My only original complaint was it took up to much bench space, so I put an eye-bolt on one end and a stout hook in the wall to hang it from. Now I clamp it to the bench when I want to use it.

  18. My vote!
  19. I've always wanted a M1 Garand and am getting enough in tax refund to afford one this year. Just started the paper work for one through CMP. It will be a service grade H&R. Now all I'll have to do is wait 3-6 months ??? Still
  20. In the Remington's favor they grouped excellently.
  21. I have a Taurus Judge and I purchased some speed loaders for it through Brownell's which work very well. We went shooting this weekend and I had a box of Remington 45 Colt and I couldn't get but about 40% to lock into the speed loaders. Don't know if I got a bad batch or what.
  22. Looks like a nice line without the crazy prices. My addiction is multi-tools, but I have a flashlight in every coat or jacket I wear, plus one in most rooms of the house, oh wait maybe I have more than one addiction.
