  1. Boy what a nightthat was >:D
  2. Actually there are ones with sights ;D. I use to conceal mine like Dennis the Menace, hip pocket. Many survival and disaster preparedness books do list sling shots as an essential.
  3. I worked part time at a c-store in upstate NY. We'd have the 5 or 6 kids from a family come in one at a time each with $1 foodstamp, buy the cheapest candy they could, of course we had to give them real change for less than a dollar. Once the change was enough for Mom's cigarettes, here comes Mom with a pocket of change. We reported it several times but nothing was done. I think the cards are much better for that reason alone. The type of stuff they can buy needs to be restricted severely, no candy, sodas, bottled water or junk food.
  4. Luck on the cataract removal, everyone I know who has had it done says it is much better afterwards. :thumb: By the way I'd be scared also, anything with my eyes scares me.
  5. I think Obama has had a long running dialogue with the Muslim Brotherhood where he has a membership in good standing.
  6. Rockler carries Oxalic Acid in powder to be mixed. http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=19462&filter=bleach
  7. I think sending him on his way was best, let the police catch him. If they'd have held him a sleazy liberal lawyer would twist it into who knows what (false imprisonment) in an attempt to get his client off. I partially agree with wobblin, but I'd have gone for a good pistol whipping >:D
  8. Glad you joined us.
  9. Amazing how every company Obama gets involved with fails, is charged with fraud. Sorta shows a pattern.
  10. Good job of paying attention to their surroundings.
  11. We are moving. During our matches we usually have one stage requiring us to fire on the move. Plus one requiring the use of barricades. The director told me yesterday he is trying to get the go ahead for a Texas Star target, which looks like fun http://www.anythingmetal.com/projects/gun_targets.htm

  13. Seven of us who shoot in the Tactical Rimfire matchs at the club got together today to do a bit if practice. Had lots of fun and learned I'm going to have to spend considerable time with my Buckmark with the Sightmark red dot scope to be any good with it. I kept losing the dot to target alignment during our movement stage, the dot disappearing out of the viewing field. I got there first and set up a spinner target at 15 yds, it has a top circle of 2-1/2 inches and I could consistently hit it, so hitting a target without having to rapidly move to it or while moving myself isn't a problem. Had no problem with the brightness of the dot in the sun either which was one of my big fears going into the scope. So I guess i'll get back to doing dry-fire practice at home with it.
  14. yelp special glasses with the lens painted black ;D
  15. This is smurff's wife, I just found him on the floor with drool everywhere and all our credit cards scattered across his computer desk.
  16. The top of the magazine does look very similar to the tops of of tactical .22 magazines, I'm sure there will be one soon. I looked for a bit but couldn't find any except those for pistols and 10/22s.
  17. Tal have you seen the dual Ruger 10/22 Gatling gun kits
  18. I'm not sure flares for the shotgun is the way I want to go, may just go with a standard USCG approved flare gun or one of the types not requiring a seperate gun/launcher. Firs thing is to see what I can find locally since I don't want to pay HazMat fees on top of shipping.
  19. From the YouTube video of "Dragon"s Breath" I saw, I do't think I'd shoot one in New Mexico except over one of the lakes.
  20. I know this isn't Tactical 22 related, but has anyone ever used 12 gauge flares in their shotgun?
  21. Rodent we're telling your wife you have a TON of porn on your computer ;D
  22. That is cool they pay for the RSO class, my understanding is they get a break per RSO member on their liability insurance. I had to pay for mine anyway ???
