Now that sounds like a story we need to hear. ;D TM

There was this drunk that hung out at a strip mall in N Sacramento. I was in line at the drive thru of Jack-in-the-Box, and saw the guy hit the car behind me. Young girl with a baby in the car, and of course every one has their window down and money out. He stuck his head and arms in the car window and acted menacing, and the poor girl threw her money at him. He came up to my car, and I warned him - "don't". He did. Got him in the chest with the bug zapper, his head bounced off the window frame a few times, and he kinda flew backward and landed in the bushes. He stayed there and twitched until the Cops came. I got my lunch for free for a week from Jack - guy had been doing this for a while. TM :bang:

I carry a bug zapper in my Blazer. (stun gun) Have used it once. Interesting effect on the miscreant that inserted himself into my vehicle in search of funds. While I was in the driver's seat. TM PS - Nice quote Hoss, what's the source??

It attaches to the power take-off on the back. ;D TM

Colt/Umarex/Walther Tactical .22 Ammo Thread
techmike replied to SCORPiON5150's topic in Colt Umarex General
They are fun!!! I have noticed as my M4 got "broken in", it is now a lot less finicky about what type of ammo I feed it. TM -
Glad to hear you got to fire it. Sucks that it got cut short!!! You need to put an aftermarket grip on that has spare battery storage. TM

Hey Hoss, LOOKS like ya'll fit right in here. TM

Now now Hoss, shouldn't give the kiddies ideas..... ;D Well, they work fine for .22 stuff, but I still needed muffs for .223. TM

Yes - great price. Not fun to shoot, but easy to carry. TM

I actually dumped a bucket of ice on him and the youngest step daughter one night. Came in from the garage and they were horizontal on one of my couches. Didn't go vertical even after I turned on lights and made noise. Hence the ice... 8) TM

Anyone try these? Got mine from CTD. These. One is curing in my right ear as I type. Mix the stuff like epoxy, push it in your ear and let it cure for 10 minutes. Going to try it out tomorrow. TM

Yup. That's the way to do it. But I don't have to anymore! TM

Pretty close. It is a nice place to visit! I would like to have a house there, after I win the lottery. TM

Colt Umarex M4 .22LR Cleaning Instructions
techmike replied to imschur's topic in Colt Umarex General
Hi Ron, Here is a page on removing the trigger group. I do not recommend mods to the trigger, I tried substituting springs to lighten trigger pull. Lighten it I did, and it also went full auto. Instead, what I did was send the trigger pack to Bill Springfield, in Colorado Springs-he does a $49 trigger job that reduced pull from > 8# to 4.5#. Check him out HERE. He does quality work! As for cleaning, nothing in the lower gets very dirty, I just run a rag thru the mag well, and wipe down the rest. After 5k rounds, it's still very clean. I will put something together for the slide, thanks for the suggestion! TM :thumb: -
It is a new business, he just went public last January, has made over 700 brakes since then. I have ordered a brake for my Sweetie"s Charger, ($39), and the prototype for the Colt/Umarex. Should be ready to ship early next week. Made in the USA! TM

My Colt's original flash hider is in Arkansas, and Mr. Peak is going to let me know what it will cost to fab a brake that fit's directly to the Colt. Am also getting one of his brakes for my Sweetie's Ruger Charger. Updates will follow as they occur. TM

Way too many security issues for me. My Sweetie and her daughters love it - they spend mega time on farmville. I might be interested if they had "rangeville"... You know, where I could shoot at the critters on farmville... Just a thought. ;D TM

Sounds like Rodent nailed it - you probably need a new spring. Springs that small are difficult to find. (there is one some where in my shop - underneath something, somewhere) Hardware stores don't carry them. You can try ordering it from Colt/Umarex. Brownells also carries spring assortments. Or perhaps a local gunsmith has a similar size lying about. I actually cut a padlock apart once to get at the tiny springs inside. Good luck! TM

Welcome Sir, GREAT deal. I tried the same thing with Gander last year, but I was getting my Colt via Gallery of Guns, and they would not match internet sales. Ah well, enjoy your new rifle! TM

Oh Gosh - Another one!!!!! Dumb, Dumb, Dumb TM -
Hi All, Ran across THIS in a Midway catalog for $15. Got two.. one fit perfectly on my AR, the one for the Colt required a little fitting, some file work, the hole needed to be drilled out a tad, then some bluing touch-up, but it works great! TM

Bill does great work! I sent my Colt's trigger assy to Bill, (he lives in Colorado Springs), and I think he turned it around in three days. I payed shipping to him, the job cost $45, and he pays return shipping. The pull on my Colt is now between 4.5 and 4 lbs. HERE is how to remove the trigger assembly. TM :thumb:
