Guys on another forum making their own barrel removal tool. Essentially a 1" tube with 4 prongs at 90 degrees each. These prongs are inserted into the barrel nut. Removing the barrel nut allows the barrel to come out. There is also a guy online making and selling a 15-22 barrel removal tool.

Ah, CA. That explains it. I am assuming your 15-22 has the 10 round mags :confused: I didn't realize they were available yet.

How true. Seems the range has bought into the anti-gun "assault rifle" BS. Curious as to what area this range is located.

Takes a "special tool" to remove the barrel nut, then the barrel comes right off. Tool could have two "tabs" like in this picture, or possibly 4 "tabs" Maybe your friend could make the "special tool" and sell them. ;D

I had my barrel threaded (1/2 x 28) by Olde English Gun Shop in Tipp City OH. If you are interested, give them a call and ask for Andrew. 937-667-3325. Cost was ~$80.00 area, and turn around was less than a week.

CTD is in name only. They have been butt raping buyers on ammo and stuff since last fall.

I now buy the Federal Bulk whenever I see it. When I need it they are never in stock. Others are no doubt following the same course. That is a reason why the FB is so difficult to find.

I have had problems with .22 mags not seating properly. The problem was dirt in the magazine catch area. 22s shoot dirty, so this could be one of the reasons your mags are not seating properly.

If that is item LK225 I bought one like it at a gun show for about $33.00. I'm not impressed with the quality of the item. YMMV.

You want .22 Long rifle. The Colt is like most other .22s they can be selective on the ammo that works best in each gun. Good idea to find out what ammo your particular rifle will feed properly before loading up from an online seller.

Mine did get shipped. Now in use ;D Read on another forum that a poster saw the M&P 15-22 mags at a gun show this weekend. Price was $15.00 each :P
