  1. Got it today, shoots great!!!
  2. Sounds good, Smurff, but I just threw the $50.00 in with the payday deposit....
  3. I ran a can ( 400 rounds) of remington high velocity 40 grain solid points thru it today, no failures or issues whatsoever! :thumb:
  4. Weeell I received a $50.00 check in the mail!!! I guess S&W realized that maybe some of us early birds beat their website notifications....
  5. Ran 325 rounds of Federal match thru the OPS this evening, no issues at all. Also ran 100 rounds of Federal Eagle, no issues at all. After 5-6000 rounds it has smooothed out!!
  6. I had a box of Remington High Velocity, 400 rounds or so. This stuff has black bullets, solid point and shiny like they were made of marble. Packed in a metal collector's can with no info other than Remington hi velocity .22 long rifle. I shot all 400 rounds rapid-fire thru my S&W 15/22 pistol. Absolutely NO issues. Fed like candy and ejected perfectly....Go figure!
  7. Just ran 100 rounds thru the Colt OPS, no failures of any kind. Strait fast-fire, no issues. Good ammo....
  8. Excellent ammo- not one issue. I fast-fired a box thru my Colt OPS a few minutes ago.
  9. The mag well can be wiped out. The trigger group is pretty well contained, and mine hasn't needed cleaning in a year. The hammer surface that strikes the back of the bolt needs to be wiped off and oiled lightly. Other than that the lower is quite trouble free. After 2000 rounds or so my Colt became smooth as butter. I ran a box of Federal match .22 (325 rounds)and 100 rounds of American Eagle thru it a few minutes ago, No failure to fires, No stovepipes,No failure to ejects. Absolutely No issues.....
  10. I lived in Tripoli, Libya for 4 years. The Middle East is totally stunted when it comes to social equality. These people are raised on HATE, they are taught from the cradle to HATE each other, hate anything they don't have, and ESPECIALLY to hate Christians and Jews. Their greatest hate is for WOMEN. Our F'd up policy of allowing these ragheads into this country will eventually lead to a social nightmare that cannot be fixed. I won't see it in my lifetime but the younger types will have to deal with it in their lifetimes. These people WILL NOT assimilate into our culture and are here only to generate enough income to support terrorist groups back home. If you think I have radical views look at what has happened to France and the rest of Europe.
  11.
  12. NOPE, the UPS 2nd day air is turning out to be 4 1/2 days....RESCHEDULED for Monday....DRAT..... >:(
  13. yeah , cosmetic but they raise the FUN FACTOR tremendously!
  14. I like that color.....
  15. got a UPS tracking number- shipped 2 day air. Hope it arrives Friday, I'd like to shoot it this weekend.
  16. Wow you have found the MOTHER LODE! Some nice stuff. :thumb:
  17. Thanks guys. Smurff the top break was a Smith & Wesson feature for several years in the late 19th century. H&R made revolvers in top break for many years. Solid frame revolvers proved more durable, easier to make for the arms companies. Hinge wear and latch problems moved this design out of the mainstream....
  18. congrats! and welcome to the board- a GREAT group of guys and we are GLAD to have you! After about 600 rounds your Colt will be smooth as silk....
  19. yeah, I know. Too much time on my hands. I had a few steel spacers and thought they were a perfect size for a flash suppressor. I made up a carriage bolt chuck so I would be able to turn it using my drill, measured a pattern for the holes. Drilled the holes and turned smooth on the drill. I haven't welded in the end yet or threaded the same but will do so soon. I wanted to see if I liked it on the gun so I cold blued it and mocked it up on the gun. Give me your honest opinion, is the A2 suppressor better looking? I kinda like the look here....
  20. My transferer's license has been faxed, the money order mailed today. That bad boy should be in my hands next Thurs or Fri, its coming 2 day air express by BOTTLE ROCKET....

  23. They are still trying to pull that stick out of her butt.....what a real CLASS ACT....
  24. Trying AGAIN!!!! Got on the phone today, verified this pistol, a saw-gripped H&R ''.22 Special" made in 1928. It's a large-frame, top-break 9 shot revolver with a 6'' barrel. 80% blue left, good bore, tight action, the screws show no sign of ever being removed. Perfect slots. It's in a gun shop in Ozark, Mo.
  25. bad news- the listings were called "private classifieds, and were both previously sold. The seller neglected to update his board. What a pisser....
