You know guys being around those boys does make me grin. The 2 boys in the pictures are my grandnephews. Their father is a sorry shiftless sob who dumped them and their mother. I never saw a boy that wanted and needed attention from a man, doing guy stuff, like the oldest boy, 11 years old. I invited him to shoot Easter of last year, I thought the boy was going to pass out from excitement. He was so anxious to please and do exactly as I wanted him to do while shooting.....He lives about 50 miles from us, can't get a ride over because of family finances so I'm gonna go over and take a few .22's and have a shootfest. Believe me- I'm the one getting the greatest benefit from him shooting. If you REALLY want to have a great time shooting, take a kid shooting with you. :thumb:

I've had my spring cranked in all the way for a year, several thousand rounds down the tube. I looked at the spring closely and don't appear to be developing any issues. Thanks for the heads up....

Well guys, after double catarac surgery in my late 40's, I thought that my shooting problems were over, LOL. Then the retina detachments started, laser surgery in your eyes is MOST unpleasant. I finally get over THAT eye problem, go to red dots so I can spray and pray. Now at almost 60 I've developed a tremor in my right arm from the elbow down. Imagine raising a fork to your mouth while eating, and the shake starting when your hand is about halfway to your mouth. I'm sure this does not bode well for the future of my olympic shooting,LOL. The doctor seems to think it's related to reconstructive surgery I had on my rt shoulder about 4 years ago....Oh well, at least there's 10 acres around the house to shoot at, no bull's eyes necessary! And I'll watch the grandson and nephews shoot when they come.....

I put 550 rounds of Federal bulk thru the Colt OPS and the M&P 15/22P. 3 failures to fire, lite strikes. Two with the Colt, one with the Smith. I had smoke coming off my trigger finger I was dumping rounds so fast. I'll bet the neighbors are still pissed....

The complaints over the last 2 years about the Colt 30 rounder produced by Umarex/Walther being "too long, and rediculous looking" have probably had an effect on the size of the magazines that will be produced for the newer guns being released by Umarex. Of course 99.9% of the whining has been by NON-OWNERS.... I LIKE the large capacity mags on all of them.

Economy catching up with the shooting industry?

Yeah my employer took the opportunity to cut me over $20,000. If I don't like it, stay at home. After 10 years, no issues, worked like a slave. It's great to be appreciated. I figured it up, I produced $ 3 million gross profit for them in 10 years, but they can only see MY small portion of it... >:( -

I used to raise rabbits as a kid. This rabbit really didn't do anything. If he had, he would have fallen over on his side when he finished. They all do it.... ;D

The Possible Shop in Roswell, New Mexico got my 1st Model Dragoon here in 2 days. Beautiful gun, Uberti quality, over 4 lbs. It will definately get your attention...LOL Mrs. Santa snapped it up for it is my Christmas present. I'll start looking again shortly for a birthday gun and a Father's Day gun. They both fall in June...I think 2011 will be BLACK POWDER year....I'd like the Paterson Colt and the Walker Colt, both by Uberti. Then maybe an 1860 Colt. We shall see. The Possible Shop has great prices, a real nice guy. I'd definately buy from him again.
