  1. You're the only person I know who might have more insight into this very, very nice lattice guitar. I know it's off topic for T22 but thought you might be able to tolerate the deviation. How much might we sell this for?
  2. I'll bet it'll take a whitetail...and the one ton duallie it's driving.
  3. Microgunner

    LOL!

Definitely LOL! I saved this one. :thumb:
  4. Congratulations. Now you're legal.
  5. Glad y'all have survived in good stead. The dual fuel generator is a great idea.
  6. Ordered the Yankee Hill Machine #230 riser from Joe Bob Outfitters that will adapt the Magpul sight to my railed gas block. $32.95 + 6.95 shipping.
  7. I decided my new CMMG Sierra will supplant my Colt and so I've sold it to coworker Eric. Here's my (his) Colt and the new owner.
  8. Maybe...or maybe I'll forge a power of attorney and take them. ;D
  9. Good to hear from you and good luck.
  10. In 5.56mm the AR15 is easy to bump fire with a little practice and there are several legal bump fire adapters available. Some folks have been seen using the rubber band method which I'm fairly sure is illegal. But I also believe that it's nearly impossible to bump fire any rimfire. As to internal full auto modifications, I have no idea how this is done.
  11. That's always been my philosophy.
  12. And it's a bad one. Batten down the hatches.
  13. Down here in Florida lives a man and his family who live off the land by hunting, fishing, gathering and gardening. A real primitive lifestyle, no electricity. One day this man was out hunting when he spotted a panther who also spotted him. The panther began approaching him, he shouted, waved his arms and fired his rifle into the air but nothing would diswade the panther's approach. Finally, out of self defense, the hunter shot and killed the panther. As he stood there looking at the panther he thought, there's no reason to let this fresh kill go to waste, especially with 7 hungry kids at home, so he dragged the kill home. Next day a F&G warden was out snooping around and spotted the fresh blood stain and followed the drag trail back to the hunter's cabin where he saw the panther's hide drying on the wall. He knocked on the door and asked the hunter about the panther kill and the hunter told him the whole story. The warden told him me sympathized but the law said he'd have to face the Judge. Next day at the arraignment the judge asked how he plead? The hunter said guilty but could he be allowed to explain. The judge said OK and the story was told once again. The judge said he understood and didn't want to deprive the hunter's family of his support so just fined him $100. Before leaving the courtroom the judge asked "by the way, just what does panther meat taste like?" The hunter replied "well I guess it kinda tastes like a cross between manatee and bald eagle."
  14. Received the CMMG BHOA and mag today. Just a word about them. This mag has a special follower (black) to function with the BHOA. The standard CMMG mags with the green followers will not work with the BHOA. So pick either/or from the start. Now I've got a mix of both.
  15. I bought a TruGlo once. It was cool, it had red and green dots and looked pretty good. Lasted about 10 minutes on the range. I was using it on a KelTec PLR-16 5.56mm pistol which might have had something to do with it's longevity. This was my experience with TruGlo.
  16. Here's the knife and it's hefty and sharp. Nice knife even if it is made in Taiwan.
  17. Why that's a "hangover to catch meddlers" as my father used to call any unidentifiable object.
  18. Glad to meet you.
  19. what's the new suppressor for?
  20. and as imschur warned me they won't work on the CMMG Sierra upper without a front sight riser. Says not compatible with railed gas blocks on the back of the package. The crappy Ncstar sights that these are to replace are compatible with a railed gas blocks. I'll order the adapter block that imschur suggested because the MBUS are so much more solid and better looking than the the Ncstars.
  21. DAMN! My hands need greasing. :-[ Sorry for the hi jack.
  22. Mine is the black bolt but I haven't owned it long enough to reveal any drawbacks.
  23. And the lower is standard AR15. Just ordered the CMMG BHOA and Magpul MBUS folding sights for my CMMG upper.
  24. Guess what arrived in the mail today? Two days after I posted. Now that's a man who wants to do business. The 22 catch is very professionally made and finished. I haven't installed it yet but will and will post photos of the install when I do. Some photos now. Thanks Catch 22. :thumb:
  25. I don't own any BDM mags for the AR 22 uppers but I can say that the CMMG mags do hold the bolt open on an empty magazine via the follower extending into the receiver. The bolt drops when you remove the empty magazine and the standard AR15's bolt lock does not work at all with the 22 upper. Catch 22 is offering a replacement bolt catch for your centerfire AR lower that will lock the bolt open on the 22lr uppers but will not work with the centerfire upper installed. I received one today. Photos in another thread. l
