I take it to the range every week,using different ammo. Sometimes it functions great..the next time, with same ammo,it has FTF all the time. BTW, I clean it flawlessly each time. Its like a woman-I never know what to expect!

Suprisingly, the Mini Mags shot about the same for me as the Federal bulk. What also suprised me was that the CCi Subsonic shot the best.

I just bought a Mossy Persuader,with what looks like a hole saw on the end of the barrel.

Got back from the range,pitting the two at 100 yards with CCI Mini Mags. I had high expectations, but the truth is the CCI didnt shoot any better than the Federal bulk did. The main difference was, the Colt felt more "solid",and the Smith would kinda make a "pink" noise when firing.Out of 50 rounds each, the Colt had one FTF, the Smith zero problems.

I bought mine used,and by the grime, i could see it had a lot of rounds through it already,but it still jammed.I liberally coated everything with Hoppes 9,including the firing pin hole, and made sure the extractor slot was clean. Bingo! No more problems!

Shooting at 100 yard targets today in 95 degrees,with Federal bulk and CCi subsonic(I happened to have some lying around and wanted to get rid of it). 30 rounds at each target,both rifles showed a preference for the CCI ammo, especially the S&W.,which shot a 30 shot, 100yard target of nearly 2 inches,with factory sights. The Colts target was no better than 4 inches.,so the Smith was the clear winner this time, with this ammo.As for function, the Smith was 100%,and the Colt had 2 FTF with the Federal ammo, none with the CCI.But, the Colt does feel more "solid",due to its heavier weight.And, it IS a dead ringer for the M-4. Next time, they will face off with CCI MINI Mags... To be continued....

yes, ticks is worse this year than ever.,so I am told.I do a lot of woods hiking,and i use repellent,and I havent had a tick for years. The repellent really works!

First time to the range today with the Smith 22.Put about 100 rounds through it,including 50 rounds of REMINGTON bulk.Not one hiccup.No FTF,no nothing. Just BANG every time the trigger pulled. Comparing it to my Colt/Umarex..The Colt is an exact visual copy to my "real" M-4.Except for the magazine, I cannot tell them apart. The Colt does have an occasional hiccup,but it is rare. I have never fired anything but bulk ammo through either gun,and am highly pleased with em both.Accuracy is excellent. The S&W is the newer one with the blue spring and muzzle suppressor. I dont know if I cud make a choice between the two....need more time with em.. Best wishes, terry

the Federal 550`s always shot well for me in my Colt also

I`ve seen that some guys are painting parts of their AR type rifles a tan color.Looks pretty good. What your thoughts? Should I paint my M&P 1522?

Hi. I just bought a new M&P22 yesterday,with the flash hider. My Colt 22 is fantastic.The S&W will have some big shoes to fill at range time...
