Anyone try these? Got mine from CTD. These. One is curing in my right ear as I type. Mix the stuff like epoxy, push it in your ear and let it cure for 10 minutes. Going to try it out tomorrow.

I wonder if that 3x expanding caulk foam would work?  I don't think I'll try it, but I just know somebody out there in internet land has.

You know, I had to go to the Doc one time.  Thought I was going deaf in one ear.  Turns out the earplug had pushed and compacted a wad of wax so tightly in my ear that I could barely hear anymore.  I remember the nurse berating me while she was holding a water hose to my ear.

i went to the British motorcycle show at the N.E.C. and there was a company stand there that did the sort of ear plug the squirted a foam solution in to you ears and wait 10 Min's and bingo a set of molded earplugs.

I messed up my ears a bit as a youth. It started with a fair amount of .308 shooting without protection followed by my first job where the factory was so loud I couldnt hear my radio at full volume. When the machines were off the radio was so loud it would hurt your ears.

Today when shooting the minute I arrive at the range I place those yellow foam E.A.R plugs in. When I shoot I have a pair of Silencio Magnums or Dillon hearing protectors that I use on top of the foam plugs.

My ears are so sensitive I cant be around a nail getting hammered in to wood without wanting to jump out of my skin

Ja, I started doubling up on ear protection when I worked with loud machinery, and I still do it to this day - plugs and muffs.  My EDC also includes foam ear plugs, I carry them everywhere I go, just in case.

We had certain aircraft in the Air Force we were required to wear ear plugs and ear muffs if we were within so many feet. I wear both when shooting my 9mm or .45acps specially if I'm in our gun clubs close-in pistol bays because they have cinderblock walls and are only about 10 yards wide and hold the sound in.
