Hows your weather?

Cold!!! It's been 27 to 30 degrees F every morning this week in Brooksville where I live. A little warmer 40 miles south in Tampa where I work. But it's a welcomed break from the heat and it makes the oranges sweeter.

How's the weather in the frozen north?

It's been very cold. I dont recall ever seeing this type of weather in early December. Sure there's an occasional day but not two weeks of it. This weekend is going to be a roller coaster of weather. A little snow tonight 40 degrees tomorrow followed by a monsoon on Sunday thats going to turn to snow and temps in the teens by Monday. This means frozen car doors ans door locks for all.

We're under the influence of "La Nina" which means no precipatation, which usually means no snow pack to melt in the spring a drought next summer. We've only had 8.3 inches of rain this year.

Wow... we had three inches of rain last week from just one storm. Our rain was measured in feet in 2010. This is not normal. Although  it has been the norm for about the last 3 years.

We would get the pretty similar weather most of the time with the track these storms follow

50 degrees today, 2-4" of rain expected in the teens to twenties tomorrow

So far i would say we are in the 4" range. My 1100gph pump with 1 1/4" hose could not keep up in the lot. The water is over the pump.  Freaking incredible.

OMG! What's going on? It was 17 degrees F on my deck Wed. morning. 17! In central Florida!
