IDPA for Tactical .22

I went and observed the local IDPA group yesterday and am definitely going to join it. Great bunch of people very friendly with most being out there for fun and to improve their shooting. Also a couple of serious shooters who are great to watch, but even they had time for a word with anyone and helpful suggestions.

After I got home I was joking with my wife that is was a shame they don't have a .22 category, then thought that it is actually a good idea. Considering the cost of practice and attending the meets just in ammo is quite steep right now for 9mm and up.

Actually a seperate organization for .22 would be good.
