asmurff
I know this isn't Tactical 22 related, but has anyone ever used 12 gauge flares in their shotgun?

techmike
There is all kinds of 12 ga specialty ammo out there. I have wanted to try the one called "dragon's breath", but you need a non-flammable desert area. Door breaching rounds, flash/bangs, flares, ect, ect.FirequestClick on ammo, exotic 12 ga
Microgunner
I've tried the Dragon's Breath. No where nearly as impressive as the website leads you to believe.
asmurff
From the YouTube video of "Dragon"s Breath" I saw, I do't think I'd shoot one in New Mexico except over one of the lakes.

asmurff
I'm not sure flares for the shotgun is the way I want to go, may just go with a standard USCG approved flare gun or one of the types not requiring a seperate gun/launcher. Firs thing is to see what I can find locally since I don't want to pay HazMat fees on top of shipping.
