asmurff Posted September 3, 2011 Report Posted September 3, 2011 I know this isn't Tactical 22 related, but has anyone ever used 12 gauge flares in their shotgun?
Microgunner Posted September 3, 2011 Report Posted September 3, 2011 I didn't even know they were available.
techmike Posted September 3, 2011 Report Posted September 3, 2011 There is all kinds of 12 ga specialty ammo out there. I have wanted to try the one called "dragon's breath", but you need a non-flammable desert area. Door breaching rounds, flash/bangs, flares, ect, ect.FirequestClick on ammo, exotic 12 ga
Microgunner Posted September 3, 2011 Report Posted September 3, 2011 I've tried the Dragon's Breath. No where nearly as impressive as the website leads you to believe.
asmurff Posted September 3, 2011 Author Report Posted September 3, 2011 From the YouTube video of "Dragon"s Breath" I saw, I do't think I'd shoot one in New Mexico except over one of the lakes.
techmike Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 Yeah - set than mannequin on fire pretty easy.
asmurff Posted September 4, 2011 Author Report Posted September 4, 2011 I'm not sure flares for the shotgun is the way I want to go, may just go with a standard USCG approved flare gun or one of the types not requiring a seperate gun/launcher. Firs thing is to see what I can find locally since I don't want to pay HazMat fees on top of shipping.
