barrel and reciever finish

Well some of these Colts are hitting the 2 year plus mark- anyone with any finish issues? Mine is just like the day I got it, no corrosion or peeling or thin spots.

Mine is at 2  :thumb:years - other than the owner induced scratched, no problems at all. Edited to add, of course my barrel shroud is dura coated after I removed the front sight, and filled the mounting holes.

I think mine is reaching the 2 year mark, and the finish is still perfect. While I don't "throw it around", I don't baby it either. Seems to be an exceptionally durable gun.

One more thing. It's performance seems to be improving (still) the more I shoot it! I never tire of shooting this thing, and it's a formidable protector for my 3 pecan trees! The squirrels ain't likin' me much!!
