nhgunnut
Ok I am trying to help a friend I work with out build a AR in 22 LR. Now he lives in New England's "State of Despair" Massachusetts. So it is a Ban state and Collapsible Stocks are out. Has anyone here Swapped the Collapsible Sock on a Plum Crazy Lower for a A2? edgecrusher
one way is to use a bridgeport and drill through the the lower portion where the six position lugs are. i did it and used roll pins and then did two small spot welds to cover the pin holes, then clean up and paint. i thought i saw fixed carbine buffer tubes somewhere before, but can't find anything right now. if nothing else gets posted here try posting this in our .308ar forum http://308ar.com/forum
retcpt
I switched the 6 pt stock that came with my Plum Crazy for a 4 pt. I was making a XM clone. All parts install or remove the same as an alum lower. No Different. In other words what works for a standard AR for parts will work for a Plum Crazy. Go for it!
