I blued the bolt pieces I stripped down and degreased the bolt as normal but I then mix half a bottle of permablue with distilled water,I then soaked the parts for about 10 mins in the solution and then washed with tap water from an outside tap and left for 20 mins out in the sun, when it dried it went a little rusty and then I resoaked the parts for 10 mins I did this about 6 times, then it was left to harden for 24 hours. I like the finish on the bolt but in a couple of photos the finish looks brown but to the eye its black.
