imschur
That would be a neat option. Something like this http://www.defensereview.com/1_31_2004/Springfield%20Armory%20SOCOM%20II%20Camo_3.jpg

Microgunner
Or maybe a .22lr version of the M1 Carbine (one of my all time favorite rifles).
asmurff
I thought I saw a kit to make the 10/22 look like an M14.
asmurff
Or maybe a .22lr version of the M1 Carbine (one of my all time favorite rifles). What type and how many M1 Carbines do you have? A rifle I've always liked but never owned.
Microgunner
What type and how many M1 Carbines do you have? A rifle I've always liked but never owned.I've only owned one. A flat bolt push button safety Winchester w/bayonet lug. Man, it's sweet shooting and easy handling. Easiest handling military rifle/carbine I've ever tried. asmurff
I had a chance to buy a surplus, never fired Underwood back in the mid 70s for $125, the gun shop got 10 them in 3 days before military payday and he wouldn't hold one for me, owner didn't like G.I.s (I think his wife ran off with one). So 3 days later I'm at the door when he unlocks and they're all sold. He never got anymore after that until after I was married with a kid on the way and no gun money
