MK II GL

I just ordered a MK II GL a left handed bolt action to replace my older Marlin 925R. I'll keep the Marlin also for possible grandkids or right handers. It does have their Accu-trigger in it.

The Mk II TR is without a doubt the most accurate .22LR rifle I have ever shot right out of the box.

I am not joking, I've actually been able to get it to print 6" groups with it at 300yds with no modifications. It is unbelievable what that rifle is capable of.  I don't know how Savage did it, but the MkII is without a doubt a .22 dream rifle.

This item was in the box, and I can find nothing like it in the illustrated parts break-down or any reference to a tool for disassembly.

Any ideas what it is MKII owners?

With the slot on the end it looks like some sort of adjustment tool doesn't it?

I thought it was a roll pin and that was the end at angle appearing like a notch. We need a confirmation here  ;D

I just sent a post to Savage asking them.

It is for adjusting the Accu-Trigger  :-[, someone already answered my post plus if I'd read closely enough I'd have found it. I went to the IPB and it isn't shown. Pardon me while I wipe the egg of my face.
