OK, so it's for my daughter (and sons when they get there!) to learn on, it's a Rascal in 22lr, and we get to go shoot tomorrow!

My first gun was a singleshot Woodchuck? by Marlin? I learned to shoot with it. Enjoyed shooting it until I got a tax refund check and the local gun store had 10/22s on sale.

Yup! that's about it, can't wait. It is drilled and tapped for mounting after she learns the peeps, it will then get a piece of glass. Then it'll go back to stock form for the boys when she eventually graduates to a 10-22, and then…..

PS. She stays away from Drew and his wonderful toys less I become bankrupt!
