Hunters education

I have just booked my hunters ed class. I have been offered a couple of places to go hunting wild hogs and one friend has offered to take me deer hunting. I have got my mosin nagent ready for hunting wild hogs. I was wondering how many people on here go hunting ?

used to hunt when I was a kid...but now I just let my son in law stock the freezer! lol...lot easier

I checked for New Mexico, but you only require hunters education if you're under 18.

Here in Texas you have to have hunters ed if you were born after september 1971 (there abouts). Wild hogs are considered vermin here in Texas but still have to have hunters ed to hunt them. I want to see how my mosin does as a hog rifle  :grin:

I did my hunters ed class and passed the test. Iam now going to get my hunting.licence and i hope to be hog hunting this winter and i may have someone who will let me hunt deer on their land during mule deer season.
